About the Role

The Interconnection Sales Specialist drives growth of Equinix’s digital services portfolio across new and existing accounts, collaborating with Sales Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Technical Account Managers to deliver value to customers. In this role you will shape digital strategies, build strong customer relationships, manage pipelines, and meet quarterly and annual sales targets. • Act as a digital product and services expert, sharing industry best practices and solution benefits. • Partner with Sales Account Executives to identify digital fit, craft pitches, define personas, and handle objections. • Develop and execute digital pursuit strategies with account teams and partners. • Build relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts, prospects, and partners; contribute to quarterly business reviews. • Drive digital prospecting and account growth, qualifying and prioritizing opportunities alongside Sales AEs. • Collaborate with Solutions Architects for presales feasibility assessments and define value metrics for prospects. • Engage and influence key decision makers; coordinate resources such as Technical Account Managers, Product, and Marketing. • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and revenue quota; track pipeline, bookings, and opportunity development. • Prioritize account/prospect lists, provide accurate forecasting, and update opportunity status for management. • Work with Marketing, Channel, and Business Development to launch campaigns that generate additional pipeline. • Support quoting, negotiating, and closing of digital services contracts; serve as liaison to the legal team.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is passionate about infrastructure, has strong sales and communication abilities, works well in cross‑functional teams, holds a bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), and brings 3‑5+ years of enterprise or cloud solutions sales experience. • Demonstrate strong relationship‑building, analytical, communication, and collaborative skills; possess a bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and 3‑5+ years of enterprise/cloud solutions sales experience.
