About the Role
The Planning Engineer plays a key role in advancing Con Edison’s Transmission Planning initiatives to support New York State’s clean energy goals. This position involves developing bulk electric system studies, designing transmission upgrades, and ensuring system reliability through technical analysis. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including NYISO, to integrate renewable resources and innovative technologies into the transmission network. Consolidated Edison, Orange & Rockland Utilities, and Consolidated Edison Transmission employees must follow health, safety, and environmental policies, EEO standards, and the company’s Code of Conduct.
