The Education and Science Intern role provides real‑world experience on exciting projects, offering mentorship opportunities with recent graduates and company leaders, and involves participation in the architectural design process under the guidance of senior professionals. • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an Architect, Project Manager, or other professionals • Develop alternative design solutions and presentation graphics to communicate concepts to clients or for agency approval • Create and follow through on design development drawings and models, collaborating with production staff for technical details and construction drawings

What You Bring

Preferred candidates have completed two years toward a degree with a 3.0+ GPA, possess knowledge of industry software such as Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, demonstrate exceptional 3D modeling skills, and have a design‑oriented mindset; local candidates are especially encouraged. Required qualifications include current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, strong attention to detail, problem‑solving and communication abilities, basic Microsoft Office proficiency, and a commitment to actively participate in HDR’s employee‑owned culture.
