About the Role

The Assistant Facility Manager – Technical role, based in Candor Gurgaon, will serve as the site lead for the client location in Indore. This position oversees facility operations, including both soft services and engineering functions, ensuring optimal performance of utility systems. In this role you will manage utility systems, lead technical teams, and handle day‑to‑day FM operations to maintain efficient building performance and stakeholder satisfaction. • Oversee daily operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, elevators, and security systems. • Manage soft services including housekeeping, events, and client visit coordination. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for mechanical and electrical equipment. • Monitor building automation and energy management systems to optimize performance. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes. • Lead emergency response procedures and business continuity planning. • Supervise and develop technical maintenance staff and engineering teams. • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, performance, invoicing, and compliance. • Conduct regular safety training and enforce safety protocols. • Prepare annual operating and capital budgets for technical operations. • Plan and execute major building improvements, renovations, and capital projects. • Perform building condition assessments and create long‑term maintenance strategies. • Recommend and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. • Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Analyze building performance data and generate technical reports. • Review utility consumption and implement cost‑saving measures.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, have at least six years of facility management experience (including two years in a supervisory role), and possess relevant certifications such as CFM, FMP, or PE. Strong technical skills in MEP, building automation, CMMS, and energy management, combined with leadership, problem‑solving, and communication abilities, are essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field). • Possess 6+ years facility management experience in IT/ITES or commercial settings. • Have 2+ years supervisory or site‑lead experience. • Professional certifications (CFM, FMP, PE) and trade certifications preferred. • Proficient in building automation systems and CMMS software. • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and safety regulations. • Experience with energy management and sustainability programs. • Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and reporting tools. • Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver excellent customer service.
