About the Role
• Apply technical skills to routine projects with minimal supervision • Direct technicians to produce engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently • Execute cross‑discipline checks and coordination • Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance • Recognize and report risk management issues to the Project Engineer • Assist in learning the needs of assigned clients • Assist with reviewing and defining scope of work issues with consultants and contractors • Work across disciplines and offices to utilize firm knowledge; mentor technically • Represent the firm to prospective employees, clients, and community stakeholders • Respond to common inquiries from clients or regulatory agencies • Prepare reports and technical memorandums under Engineer‑of‑Record supervision • Direct or coordinate work of technicians and other assistants as needed • Participate continually in individual development planning and programs • Provide input to improve project delivery processes and standards • Contribute to the Client Services team • Actively participate in local professional societies • Participate in community service activities and understand their implications

What You Bring
This position requires work to be performed in an office environment and in the field. Work done in the field may consist of exposure to various types of weather and temperatures. Engineers may also be exposed to pollutants, chemicals, insects, and possibly water‑borne pathogens, and employees are required to wear appropriate protective clothing and gear when performing fieldwork. • Understand the profession’s ethical obligation to client and public welfare • Effectively present information orally and in writing • Bachelor’s in civil engineering from an ABET‑accredited university • 0–24 months of relevant experience • Working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Civil3D preferred • A/E or EPC experience • Field work may involve exposure to weather, pollutants, chemicals, insects, and water‑borne pathogens; required protective gear must be worn
