About the Role

The welding specialist supports project delivery by applying advanced welding techniques and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Coordination with engineering and production teams helps keep projects on schedule and within specifications. • Perform flux‑core and arc welding on structural steel per AWS D1.1 and CWB standards. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Inspect and test welded joints to ensure quality compliance. • Maintain, service and repair welding equipment and tools. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and to specification. • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. • Accurately cut metal using torches and plasma cutters.

What You Bring

The job requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work in standing, bending or kneeling positions, and operate in outdoor or confined‑space environments. Safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe workplace. • Hold certifications in GMAW and FCAW (Level II or higher) and meet AWS/CWB qualifications. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and independent work ethic. • Communicate effectively and work well in team settings. • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in standing, bending, kneeling, outdoor or confined‑space conditions.
