About the Role

The AIT will assist with all facets of golf‑course maintenance and will receive hands‑on field training as well as in‑depth discussions on agronomic fundamentals. The role also involves supporting pre‑plant preparations, green establishment, and maintaining organized records of maintenance activities. • Perform mowing, fertilization, pest control, irrigation, and other cultural practices. • Calibrate fertilizer spreaders and sprayers for accurate product application. • Oversee pre‑plant fertilizer applications to all turfgrass areas. • Assist with putting‑green seeding/sprigging and establishment. • Manage grassing of all playing surfaces. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site. • Keep accurate schedules and detailed records of maintenance and pesticide applications. • Foster professionalism, respect, timeliness, and accountability among the maintenance team.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates will hold a degree or certification in turfgrass management (or be willing to obtain one) and have at least two years of experience in golf‑course maintenance. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, while meeting the physical demands of the position. • Physical requirements include standing, walking, and moving for >8 hours and lifting items up to 50 lb. • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
