About the Role
This position is responsible for the effective utilization of materials, equipment, and systems in assembling moderately complex to very complex products and electrical wiring. The employee performs electrical wiring assembly on medium to large sized parts or panels and completes the final assembly of wiring and panels to a switchboard unit. The role emphasizes accurate assembly and adherence to product specifications. The worker reads and interprets moderately to very complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and schematics. They assemble parts of varying sizes, perform complete wiring assembly from a pre‑arranged kit, and use a wide variety of hand and air tools along with measuring equipment. When discrepancies arise, they apply independent judgment to determine the appropriate course of action, conduct self‑quality checks, quarantine non‑conforming product, and log job start and finish in the computer system. Additional duties include basic troubleshooting, providing input for product improvement, and maintaining a safe, healthful work environment in line with OSHA requirements. • Read and interpret complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and schematics. • Assemble components ranging from very small to very large, completing full wiring assembly from start to finish. • Utilize hand tools, air tools, gauges, torque wrenches, and measuring equipment. • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bills of materials and drawings using independent judgment. • Perform self‑quality checks, quarantine non‑conforming product, and record job times in the computer system. • Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.

What You Bring
Candidates must successfully pass the appropriate Work Keys assessment and be able to read complex blueprints independently. A solid understanding of electrical principles and UL requirements is advantageous, and proficiency with basic hand tools, air tools, gauges, and torque wrenches is required. Three to five years of prior assembly experience is mandatory. The job requires excellent natural or corrected vision and the ability to lift up to 26 pounds. Employees must perform continuous repetitive motions with hands and arms while reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, and climbing ladders as needed. Independent judgment and initiative are essential for evaluating and troubleshooting assembly problems. Work is performed on an assembly line in a manufacturing plant, requiring safety shoes and safety glasses. The noise level is within normal acceptable standards, and proper use of hand and cutting tools is mandatory. Employees must be able to reach overhead and climb ladders to complete tasks. • Conduct basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, seeking support from supervision and engineering as needed. • Lift up to 26 lb, perform continuous repetitive hand motions, and work with overhead reach and ladder climbing. • Possess 3–5 years of assembly experience, pass Work Keys assessment, and demonstrate strong blueprint reading skills.
