About the Role
The role involves delivering complete engineering design solutions, providing technical support, and managing projects for new product development, modifications, and enhancements. The engineer will coordinate prototype fabrication, collaborate with testing labs, certification engineers, manufacturing, and operations. The position requires maintaining deep technical knowledge of both existing and emerging products, researching and developing new solutions using solid‑modeling and analysis tools, and conducting feasibility studies, rapid prototyping, and testing. It also includes responsibility for accurate documentation, engineering releases, ongoing product maintenance, and leading development initiatives through defined project gates. • Maintain technical familiarity with existing and emerging products. • Research, design, and develop new products and enhancements using solid‑modeling and analysis software. • Conduct engineering feasibility studies, create layouts, and perform rapid prototyping and testing. • Manage and maintain project documentation, drawings, and records. • Execute engineering releases for assigned projects. • Perform product engineering maintenance on existing product lines. • Initiate and lead development projects, defining scope, breaking down tasks, and managing gate approvals.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering, have at least two years of design, development, and testing experience, and be proficient in Inventor or SolidWorks and finite element analysis. Strong project‑management abilities, cross‑functional collaboration, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders are essential. Preferred attributes include excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and email, and a proven ability to identify and solve problems promptly. • BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. • Minimum 2 years experience in design, development, maintenance, and testing of mechanical/electrical devices. • Proficiency in Inventor or SolidWorks. • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) expertise. • Knowledge of design, performance, and industry standards for electrical products. • Effective project management skills. • Ability to collaborate across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, sales, and marketing. • Strong presentation and communication abilities with managers, salespeople, customers, and factory staff. • Strong written and verbal communication. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and PC applications. • Demonstrated problem‑solving capability.
