About the Role
The engineer will design, develop, commission, and troubleshoot automation systems, overseeing the full project lifecycle from concept through handover. Work will be both independent and collaborative, delivering robust solutions for diverse industrial applications. • Develop detailed electrical and control system design specifications. • Implement communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and OPC. • Plan and execute site commissioning for PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. • Perform testing and validation, covering I/O checks, loop testing, and sequence verification. • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during commissioning. • Provide on‑site and remote technical support for installed automation systems. • Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, and SCADA malfunctions and execute system upgrades or expansions. • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers during projects.

What You Bring
The Manager • System & Architecture Engineer (PLC/HMI/SCADA Engineer) role is based in Mahape, Maharashtra, India, and is part of Lauritz Knudsen, a unit of Schneider Electric. The position requires 5‑7 years of experience in industrial automation. • Program PLC logic using Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, or Sequential Function Chart for platforms such as Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, and Schneider Electric. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field. • Possess 5‑7 years of experience in design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. • Demonstrate strong proficiency with at least one major PLC platform (e.g., M200 PLC S71200, Schneider Unity Pro/EcoStruxure Machine Expert). • Have hands‑on experience with HMI/SCADA tools such as Siemens WinCC/TIA Portal, Wonderware InTouch/System Platform, or AVEVA CitectSCADA/Plant SCADA. • Show willingness to travel for project commissioning and support activities.
