About the Role

In this role you will lead mechanical design delivery for major water, wastewater, and conveyance projects, ensure technical and delivery excellence, mentor engineers, and foster strong client relationships across diverse sectors. • Lead and review mechanical design delivery on major water, wastewater, and conveyance projects. • Maintain highest standards of quality, safety, governance, and client satisfaction. • Mentor and guide engineers and designers to develop the talent pipeline. • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients across diverse sectors. • Apply strategic decision‑making to balance profitability, efficiency, and market insight. • Participate in AECOM’s global wellbeing program and inclusive culture initiatives.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a relevant tertiary degree with CPEng and RPEQ registration, possess extensive mechanical design experience in water or wastewater consulting, have a proven track record of leading complex multidisciplinary projects, and demonstrate strong communication, commercial, and strategic acumen. • Hold a relevant tertiary degree, CPEng, and RPEQ registration. • Possess extensive mechanical design experience in water/wastewater consulting environments. • Demonstrate ability to lead complex multidisciplinary projects with strong commercial acumen. • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
