About the Role
The role involves operating a PD10 machine to drive production piles and posts into the ground while avoiding damage to equipment or materials. The employee will also assist in the installation of various pile types, perform maintenance and greasing of piles, and operate a skid steer as needed. The employee must promote and comply with company safety policies, operate heavy equipment, and handle distribution, layout, assembly, and installation of solar array components at a solar energy farm. Responsibilities include distributing and installing piles and racking materials, assisting with pile placement using a compact track loader, remediating pile tolerances, and coordinating machine actions through hand or audio signals from crew members. Additional duties involve clear communication, traveling to different job sites on short notice, performing inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment, and ensuring proper care of supplies. • Operate PD10 machine and skid steer to drive piles/posts without equipment damage. • Install and maintain various pile types, grease piles, and remediate tolerances. • Distribute, layout, assemble, and install solar array components and racking materials. • Assist with pile placement using a compact track loader prior to installation. • Coordinate machine actions using hand or audio signals and communicate clearly with crew. • Perform inspections and routine maintenance of tools and equipment. • Travel to different job sites on short notice and adapt to additional duties as assigned. • Adhere to safety policies, work flexible hours including nights/weekends, and read technical documents. • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

What You Bring
Candidates need a high school diploma or GED combined with one to three years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and training. The position requires a strong safety mindset, the ability to work flexible hours—including nights and weekends—and competence in reading safety rules, operating manuals, engineering drawings, and basic math.
