About the Role
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for verifying product compliance with requirements and processes, leading the inspection team, providing quality training, selecting inspection technologies, investigating problems, reviewing discrepant material, and overseeing disposition and recovery. The role includes developing, implementing, and monitoring all relevant procedures in the Quality Management System (QMS) and managing a team of hourly quality employees, directing work and performance. Accurate records are maintained to satisfy company and customer retention requirements, and inspection and verification techniques are determined and monitored for design requirements, including new product releases for prototypes and production. Training coordination covers MSA, gauge selection and use, GD&T, and special inspection techniques such as flatness measurement, while action plans are monitored to meet key business metrics including productivity, on‑time delivery, first‑pass yield, and cycle time/backlog. The supervisor develops methods to eliminate quality problems and improve manufacturing processes through collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Management, and suppliers, and works with internal and external customers to interpret and agree on quality procedures and product acceptability. • Verify product compliance with requirements and processes. • Lead and mentor the inspection team. • Develop, implement, and monitor QMS procedures. • Manage hourly quality staff performance. • Maintain accurate records for company and customer retention. • Define and apply inspection techniques for new and production products. • Conduct training on MSA, gauge selection, GD&T, and special inspection methods. • Track and improve metrics: productivity, on‑time delivery, first‑pass yield, cycle time/backlog. • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, supply chain, and suppliers to resolve quality issues. • Work with internal and external customers to agree on quality procedures and product acceptability. • Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to eliminate waste.

What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required, with a technical or master’s degree and ASQ certification preferred. Candidates must have at least four years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, one year of supervisory experience, strong GD&T background, aerospace product experience, and experience with complex machined materials. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR, and be located within a 50‑mile radius of the facility (active‑duty military are exempt). No relocation benefit is offered. • Bachelor’s degree required; technical or master’s degree and ASQ certification preferred. • Minimum four years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing setting. • At least one year of supervisory/people management experience. • Strong GD&T knowledge and background in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. • Experience with aerospace products, complex machined materials, and MSA. • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; must be a U.S. person per ITAR. • Located within a 50‑mile radius of the facility (military exemption applies).
