About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports an affordable‑housing community by executing maintenance tasks—including corrective, preventative, and emergency work—while assisting the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with make‑ready processes and on‑call responsibilities. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance for common areas, buildings, and units. • Assist with make‑ready procedures and unit turn events under supervision. • Maintain swimming pool cleanliness, chemical logs, and daily exterior grounds upkeep. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions and ensure safety compliance. • Organize and stock the maintenance shop, manage inventory, and follow OSHA/EPA guidelines. • Respond promptly to resident and management service requests, delivering excellent customer service. • Participate in on‑call emergency rotations and enforce community policies. • Record service activities, manage work order documentation, and support office and model unit upkeep. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws, OSHA requirements, and company policies. • Meet physical demands such as lifting 100+ lb objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
