About the Role
In this role you will manage field operations, including commissioning, upgrades, testing, training and technical support for high‑voltage generators, motors and associated control equipment. • Commission HV generators, motors, synchronous condensers, power management systems, protection systems, AVRs and synchronising equipment. • Upgrade AVRs, PMS, synchronisers, protection relays and related control elements. • Perform high‑ and low‑voltage testing on equipment and machine windings in the field. • Provide training on Brush Power Gen products to clients and field service colleagues. • Interpret technical drawings, specifications and requirements. • Attend on‑site technical meetings and prepare method statements and risk assessments. • Support mechanical service engineers on multidisciplinary assignments.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds an accredited electrical or controls qualification (or equivalent experience), possesses networking knowledge, understands health‑safety‑environment practices, and is medically cleared for offshore assignments, while demonstrating strong problem‑solving, commercial awareness and communication skills. We seek self‑reliant leaders who work well independently and as part of a team, have extensive offshore and overseas experience, can handle stakeholder relationships remotely, and have deep expertise in power generation and distribution. • Accredited electrical or controls qualification or equivalent experience. • Knowledge of networking protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet, IEC 61850 and fibre (advantageous). • Understanding of health, safety and environment (HSE) concepts. • Medical clearance for offshore and overseas work. • Strong problem‑solving, commercial awareness and ability to work independently. • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. • Proven experience with offshore/overseas assignments and stakeholder management. • Deep expertise in electrical power generation and distribution systems.
