About the Role
The Utility Person operates a production machine according to established procedures and guidelines, and may receive cross‑training on several machines within the facility. The position works the 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday. Under direct supervision, the employee assembles POC and PRC bushings, performs PRC stud coating, winds cores, cuts foils, cleans and packs bushing products, coats studs, and handles any additional tasks needed to produce all bushing products. Additional duties may include other required bushing assemblies. All work is performed to meet production targets. The role also involves maintaining a safe, clean, and productive facility. Operation of the POC and PRC processes is not required for this position. • Assemble POC and PRC bushings and perform related coating, winding, and foil‑cutting tasks. • Clean, pack, and coat bushing products while meeting production goals. • Maintain a safe, clean, and productive facility environment. • Read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, JSA’s, and technical drawings. • Use measuring tools and interpret machine gauges and display readings. • Perform repetitive work while sitting or standing for up to eight hours. • Work off platforms, navigate stairs and ramps, and use both hands fully.

What You Bring
Success in this role requires the ability to read work instructions, safety procedures, job safety analyses, and technical prints. The employee must be comfortable using a standard ruler or tape measure and interpreting machine gauges or equipment display readings. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to sit or stand for at least eight hours, lift 50 lb from floor to waist and waist to floor, and lift 30 lb while carrying it four feet at a height of four feet. The employee must be able to work off a platform, navigate stairs and ramps, and have full use of both hands, vision, hearing, and mobility. Repetitive motion and standing or walking are daily aspects of the job. • Lift up to 50 lb floor‑to‑waist and 30 lb for short distances at a height of four feet.

Benefits
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, with a base rate of $24.65 per hour plus applicable shift differential. The position is in a unionized (PCORE) environment. • Earn $24.65/hr plus shift differential in a union (PCORE) position.
