About the Role
The Maintenance Technician assists with operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties and facilities. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems (machinery, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) • Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic devices • Install and modify building equipment and systems • Replace or repair finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment • Evaluate and recommend upgrades or cost‑saving opportunities for maintenance operations • Use tools and equipment safely in facility and ground maintenance • Respond immediately to emergency situations and service requests • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety and preventive maintenance • Operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and pumps • Perform carpentry and snow removal as needed • Follow all applicable codes, regulations, company directives, and safe work practices • Utilize technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web‑based applications, and building automation systems • Adhere to C&W uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance

What You Bring
The role operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Physical demands include regular communication, computer use, moving about the workplace, short periods of standing, and extending arms in any direction. • Complete required C&W safety training annually • Technical proficiency, initiative, flexibility, multi‑tasking, and sense of urgency • High school diploma or GED equivalent • 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting • Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair • Valid driver’s license with good driving record (commercial license may be required) • Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word

Compensation is competitive, ranging from $23.80 to $28.00 per hour, and is based on factors such as location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements, never below minimum wage.
