The Plumbing Supervisor role is based at HMP Grendon Springhill (HP18 0TL) with a salary of £48,574.47 on a permanent, full‑time contract (39 hours, Monday‑Friday). The position seeks an accomplished plumber with experience leading teams in facilities, forces, or healthcare settings. Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in plumbing or related engineering (e.g., C&G 6189, 5962, 6019, 6018, 6129, 214, 6188, 6088, 6032, or EAL Diploma) and have at least five years’ experience in FM, secure, military, health or similar sectors. Familiarity with Water Supply Regulations, Legionella L8 requirements, health & safety standards and strong organisational and people skills are essential. • Hold an NVQ Level 3 plumbing/heating qualification (e.g., C&G 6189, 5962, 6019, 6018, 6129, 214, 6188, 6088, 6032, or EAL Diploma). • Minimum five years’ experience in facilities management within secure, military, health or similar environments. • Proven experience with commercial/industrial heating, water and building service systems. • Knowledge of Water Supply Regulations and Legionella L8 control requirements. • Strong health & safety, risk, compliance, planning and project‑management skills. • Ability to organise, manage time and lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. • Position within a Ministry of Justice business, ISO 9001 certified, with future FM service transition slated for August 2027.
