About the Role
The Maintenance Program Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a variety of maintenance programs within the Maintenance Department. The role balances focused responsibility with broader support tasks such as corrective‑action program analysis, self‑assessments, benchmarking, inspection readiness, performance indicator updates, and knowledge‑transfer initiatives. The specialist also serves on multiple committees, provides business‑analyst functions, and may act as an Emergency Response Organization member. • Coordinate inspection readiness for NSRB, INPO, NRC, and other regulatory bodies. • Generate and update performance indicators using Critical Data Exchange data. • Maintain and refresh the department website content. • Oversee Knowledge Transfer & Retention (KT&R) processes. • Produce daily Plan of the Day (POD) materials for the department. • Own and manage specific programs such as weld, lifting, and rigging. • Act as Department Training Coordinator and support Management Review meetings. • Conduct analyst functions: self‑assessments, benchmarking, work‑group evaluations, investigations, and action‑tracking. • Maintain the department's Performance Improvement Action Plan (PIAP). • Support Clean Energy Center committees including New Work Screening, Maintenance Rule Expert Panel, PORC, Surveillance Frequency Change, Cyber Security Assessment, Safety, FME, and Configuration Control. • Perform business‑analyst duties: contract generation, invoice processing, CPA reviews, budget development, tracking, forecasting, and workforce planning. • Provide oversight for contract personnel on special projects. • Participate in emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support outside the department.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an SRO license, an associate's degree with four years, or a high school diploma with six years. Preferred qualifications include eight years of utility or related industry experience, training in corrective‑action/root‑cause analysis, a Root Cause Evaluator certification, and knowledge of contract administration and budgeting.
