About the Role
Reporting to the category management team, the Senior Analyst develops and maintains product assortments, leading detailed assortment plans and product line reviews. The analyst works closely with merchants to identify category needs and collaborates with purchasing, transportation, marketing, pricing, and cost teams. Providing analysis and actionable insights, the role ensures assortment opportunities support the overall category strategy. The position is responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analyses to evaluate cost impacts and for managing the full project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, design, implementation, and evaluation. Managing two to four projects simultaneously, the analyst recommends process improvements and delivers final recommendations that drive business results. Additionally, the Senior Analyst mentors junior analysts and serves as a subject‑matter expert on research, metrics, and business value. • Lead execution of assortment plans, business and product line reviews. • Collaborate with merchants and cross‑functional teams (purchasing, transportation, marketing, pricing, cost) to define category needs. • Analyze data to provide actionable insights on assortment opportunities and strategy. • Perform comprehensive financial modeling to assess cost impacts across scenarios. • Manage full project lifecycle—from feasibility and design to implementation and evaluation—for 2‑4 concurrent initiatives. • Mentor junior analysts and act as subject‑matter expert on research, metrics, and business value. • Identify and resolve complex problems, making decisions under uncertainty. • Utilize advanced Excel and data‑analysis tools for forecasting and reporting.

What You Bring
Candidates typically hold a BS/BA in a related discipline (or an MS/MA with 3‑5 years of experience) and possess five to eight years of relevant experience.
