About the Role
The Airline Passenger Assistant (APA), also known as the Wheelchair Agent, fulfills airline passenger service obligations for passengers who require or request wheelchair assistance. This role is highly customer‑service oriented, ensuring safe and timely support for travelers with mobility needs. • Provide wheelchair assistance to airline passengers who need or request it. • Ensure safe, timely support while maintaining high customer‑service standards. • Work the early‑morning shift (04:00 AM‑09:00 AM) on weekends and three consecutive weekdays. • Complete a four‑week onboarding process before shift assignments are finalized. • Obtain reasonable accommodations for disabilities upon request. • Work at Dulles International Airport under ABM’s E‑Verify employment verification.
