About the Role
You will act as the subject‑matter expert for specific data domains, understanding data sources, meanings, usage patterns, and business use cases. Working with key data users, you will develop business logic for automated monitoring to catch quality issues early, and you will advise stakeholders on self‑service data availability and extraction methods. You will maintain field‑level explanations, data catalogues, and business definitions, while partnering with product managers and centers of excellence to promote data adoption across the organization. Additionally, you will manage data security access, evaluate risks against contractual and legal constraints, and own quality rules for your data domain. • Serve as subject‑matter expert for designated data domains, understanding sources, usage, and business contexts. • Collaborate with data users to define business logic for automated data quality monitoring. • Advise stakeholders on self‑service data availability and guide data extraction from platforms. • Maintain field‑level explanations, data catalogues, and aligned business definitions. • Partner with product managers and centers of excellence to drive data adoption across the business. • Manage data security access, assess risks, and ensure compliance with contractual and legal restrictions. • Own and maintain quality rules for data domains and analytics products.

The Data Steward – Environmental, Health & Safety role is open to multiple locations, with a preference for a Central Time zone. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. At least three years of business experience, including cross‑functional supply‑chain exposure, and a background in data science, analytics, or data modeling are required. Familiarity with database structures and Kimberly‑Clark ERP platforms such as S4, Kinaxis, SMOM, WMS, and TMS is essential, as is experience creating automated data‑quality rules and designing analytics dashboards. Strong project‑management skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and fluency in English are also needed. • Hold a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. • Have at least 3 years of business experience, including cross‑functional supply‑chain exposure. • Possess experience in data science, analytics, data modeling, and creating automated data quality rules. • Familiar with database structures and Kimberly‑Clark ERP platforms (S4, Kinaxis, SMOM, WMS, TMS). • Proficient in advanced analytics, data visualization, and dashboard development. • Demonstrate strong project‑management skills and ability to meet deadlines; fluent in English.
