About the Role
The primary focus is to manage workforce planning and utilization of Trade employees for xPL manufacturing projects, overseeing hiring, professional development, and assignment coordination. Key duties include collaborating with site supervisors, superintendents, project managers, HR, and executives to align staffing with project needs; determining facility staffing requirements and maintaining assignment records; driving the recruitment process, conducting interviews, and extending conditional offers; coordinating new‑hire orientation; managing annual performance evaluations and providing mentorship to supervisors; overseeing employee development and training records; identifying high‑potential staff for career progression; handling discipline, terminations, and compensation adjustments; and performing other assigned tasks. • Coordinate workforce planning with supervisors, project managers, HR, and executives. • Determine staffing needs for manufacturing facilities and track assignments. • Lead recruitment, interview candidates, and extend conditional offers. • Organize new‑hire onboarding and orientation activities. • Oversee annual performance evaluations and mentor supervisors on the process. • Maintain training records and support employee skill development. • Identify high‑potential trade employees for career progression. • Manage employee discipline, terminations, and compensation adjustments. • Collaborate with preconstruction and business development teams on staffing forecasts. • Partner with HR and talent acquisition to promote trade career opportunities. • Ensure compliance with safety policies and physical job requirements. • Travel as required to support project and facility needs.

What You Bring
The position is located at the xPL Offsite Manufacturing Facility in Decatur, AL, and is classified as a regular, experienced, salaried non‑exempt role within the Construction job family. Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree and ten years of related experience or an equivalent mix of education and training, with a preference for construction or manufacturing backgrounds; strong business and operational understanding; management experience with the ability to direct non‑direct reports; independent judgment in staffing decisions; excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and HCM tools; and willingness to travel. The role demands physical abilities such as climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing tasks in environments with moving machinery, noise, fumes, and potential electrical hazards, while adhering to company safety policies and applicable regulations.
