About the Role

The firm is hiring a Principal Consultant for its Technology consulting team. The role requires expertise in database development, management, process and data mapping, and data analysis, and involves delivering data and analytics projects of varying size and complexity. In addition to technical delivery, the consultant must sell solutions, capture client requirements, and facilitate workshops. • Lead project team of analysts and consultants, develop execution plans and manage end‑to‑end delivery with Commission Directors. • Capture client data, analysis and modelling requirements through workshops and interviews. • Identify and run various business and model scenarios to support decision making. • Develop end‑to‑end data processes and comprehensive data models. • Design data solutions collaboratively with clients and their IT teams. • Build dashboards and visualisations using a variety of tools. • Support clients in using model outputs for strategic decisions. • Test solutions and models against defined requirements. • Conduct assurance checks on implemented solutions. • Prepare written project communications, including progress reports. • Create presentations and materials for client pitches and business generation. • Apply consulting and business analysis techniques such as the MoSCoW method to understand client requirements. • Utilise Agile delivery methodology in project execution.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate strong analytic and numeracy skills and the ability to present data in multiple formats. • Program in DAX, Python, VBA and SQL. • Hold a degree in an analytic discipline (e.g., Maths, Geography, Engineering, Economics) or Construction (Civil Engineering) desirable. • Experience in data warehousing and data modelling. • Proficient in data visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau. • Possess a solid understanding of business intelligence, reporting architecture, dimensions, measures, metadata and schemas.
