About the Role
The recruiter will identify, attract, and hire skilled‑trade talent such as electricians, journeymen, foremen, project engineers, and project managers. Working closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources Manager, the role aligns hiring efforts with organizational goals while managing internal systems, documentation, and onboarding processes. In addition to recruiting duties, the role oversees daily branch‑office operations, including building maintenance, inventory management, coordinating vendor services, and organizing employee celebrations. The position is based on‑site in Reno and requires collaboration with external partners such as trade schools and military re‑entry programs. • Develop and implement internal recruiting systems and processes • Review, update, and maintain recruiting policies and documentation • Create and maintain work instructions and SOPs for recruiting activities • Lead orientation and training for new recruiting team members • Generate and analyze recruiting metrics to recommend strategic improvements • Collaborate on recruitment strategies and advertising campaigns (Indeed, LinkedIn) • Design graphics and write content for LinkedIn job posts • Partner with trade schools, community colleges, high schools, ROP, and military programs to attract candidates • Manage reporting on key recruiting performance indicators • Respond to candidate inquiries and route them to appropriate team members • Source, screen, interview candidates; coordinate with hiring managers; schedule start dates; issue offer letters • Support onboarding by preparing PPE, IT equipment, and assisting with Paycom, OSHA, and driver safety training • Manage inventory for office supplies, PPE, and kitchen/coffee area needs • Coordinate building maintenance and general facility upkeep • Liaise with third‑party vendors such as janitorial and landscaping services • Organize employee birthday acknowledgments and office celebrations • Receive and distribute materials and packages

Rex Moore is seeking a full‑time Skilled Trades Recruiter for its Reno, NV branch. The position offers an hourly wage of $30.53‑$46.25, negligible travel, and day‑time shifts. Rex Moore has over a century of experience delivering safe, comfortable, and sustainable building solutions across the United States. Candidates should have at least two years of recruiting experience for skilled trades in construction, manufacturing, or a staffing agency, be self‑motivated, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, online job boards, social media recruiting, and an applicant tracking system is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Resources or a related field is preferred. • Minimum 2 years recruiting skilled trades or similar in construction/manufacturing or staffing agency • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment • Electrical construction knowledge (preferred) • Proficient with Microsoft Office and online job boards • Social media recruiting expertise (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+) • Experience with applicant tracking system (preferred) • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills • Ability to quickly learn HRIS or similar applications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Resources or related field (preferred)
