About the Role
The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration and risk management. This on‑site leader ensures compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing guidelines while driving resident satisfaction and property performance. • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; create schedules and address performance issues per company standards. • Achieve optimal net operating income by controlling costs, improving revenue, and developing annual budgets and forecasts. • Manage leasing activities: implement marketing plans, ensure accurate lease documentation, and handle resident complaints to maintain satisfaction. • Design and execute resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Oversee administrative reporting, emergency response, customer service, and timely maintenance of property appearance and repairs. • Supervise maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation projects, ensuring quality and expediency through vendor management.

What You Bring
• Require high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred. • Demonstrate proficiency with on‑site software, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and working in varied weather and confined spaces. • Reliable transportation required for on‑call emergency duties.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications and includes a salary range of $58,000 – $61,000, a comprehensive total‑rewards package with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) matching, and performance‑based bonuses.
