About the Role

The Associate Account Executive (AAE) is a remote sales role supporting multiple local field Account Executive teams. The AAE drives business development through prospecting, list‑building, and closing self‑generated opportunities to meet team and company objectives. Core duties include making outbound cold calls to introduce Republic Services’ products, generating quality leads, and closing sales. The AAE works closely with Account Executives to create targeted lead lists, lead huddles, and schedules, while maintaining accurate records in Salesforce—tracking prospects, decision makers, timelines, and opportunity stages. • Make outbound cold calls to prospect customers and close sales. • Build and manage targeted lead lists in partnership with Account Executives. • Log all inbound and outbound calls and update prospect data in Salesforce. • Coordinate lead‑calling schedules and calendars for AE teams. • Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and share best practices.
