About the Role

The position operates in a hybrid environment that blends office duties—using computers, phones, and standard office equipment—with hands‑on work in the maintenance shop and plant field, exposing employees to typical industrial conditions such as noise, odors, and variable weather. • Oversee daily operations of the maintenance shop and assign tasks to technicians. • Coordinate and supervise all maintenance work and repairs, monitoring progress and quality. • Review driver repair requests and generate work order documentation. • Perform mechanical duties as needed to support shop functions. • Monitor inventory levels of replacement parts and restock promptly. • Coach, train, evaluate, and discipline personnel; advise on termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. • Interpret and enforce organizational policies and safety regulations consistently. • Prepare and submit required operational and performance reports. • Expose employees occasionally to physical risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals, as well as environmental factors like dirt, odors, and extreme weather.
