About the Role

• Coordinate NCCER assessment activities, including scheduling, delivery, and tracking. • Manage and execute activities for Registered Apprenticeship programs. • Ensure training documentation is accurate and submitted timely in partnership with the Craft Training Coordinator. • Uphold the integrity of all craft training programs. • Develop technical training courses covering NCCER standards, Apprenticeship, and skill upgrades. • Represent Sundt in schools, educational organizations, and industry associations to sustain partnerships. • Collaborate with Sundt’s profit centers and projects to expand project‑based craft training. • Perform occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Interact regularly with people and technology throughout the workday. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for the duration of a shift. • Frequently use telephone, computer, email, and other electronic devices for communication. • Participate in Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(k). • Utilize flexible time off (FTO) and flexible spending accounts. • Contribute to the Sundt Foundation charitable employee‑owner program.

What You Bring

The Craft Training Instructor reports to the Craft Workforce Development Manager or Director and delivers both classroom and hands‑on instruction for Sundt’s training programs. All training content follows the standards set by the National Center for Construction Education/Research (NCCER) and the Department of Labor. • Possess 5+ years of successful field experience in construction. • Demonstrate working knowledge of delivering continuing education to field personnel (preferred). • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills. • Obtain NCCER certification within the first six months of employment. • Proficiently use the Microsoft Office Suite. • Bilingual ability (preferred).
