About the Role

Key duties include organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas, overseeing the building’s structure, and managing contractors who provide cleaning, gardening and window‑cleaning services. You will act as the first point of contact for resident complaints, leasehold enquiries and property alterations, building strong relationships with residents, contractors and clients, and empathising particularly with the 60‑plus resident group. • Provide customer‑focused support to residents, promoting well‑being and independence. • Organize repairs and maintenance of communal areas and building structure. • Supervise contractors for communal cleaning, gardening, and window cleaning. • Serve as first point of contact for resident complaints, leasehold enquiries, and property alterations. • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, contractors, and clients. • Utilize IT tools such as Outlook and Word for daily tasks. • Travel across the region as required.

What You Bring

The position requires a customer‑focused, confident individual with strong logical reasoning and excellent communication skills. You will work independently, prioritising and managing your own workload while supporting residents to maintain their well‑being and independence. Although you will be largely lone‑working, you will receive support from a Regional Manager, Head Office Team, and a Training and Support Assistant. You must be organised, able to juggle multiple tasks, and have a good understanding of building maintenance. A solid level of IT proficiency is required, with daily use of applications such as Outlook and Word. Nightingale House comprises 36 one‑ and two‑bedroom flats, an emergency alarm system, communal facilities, a lift, gardens, a lounge, laundry room and on‑site parking. Applicants must be able to travel across the region, hold a basic criminal record check clearance, be eligible to work in the UK and reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment. Benefits

The Visiting Scheme Manager role is based at Nightingale House in Romsey, offering a permanent contract with a salary of £7,997.11 per annum and a 12‑hour weekly schedule (Monday and Thursday). It is operated by Grange Property Management.
