About the Role

• Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber‑optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment. • Follow MasTec Health, Safety and Environmental policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Climb towers and ladders, erect various tower types, and assist with helicopter, crane, and gin‑pole installations. • Off‑load material, manage inventory, and prepare/clean job sites. • Install carriers on new and existing towers and assemble monopole, self‑support, and guyed towers. • Install microwave, VHF, UHF, cellular, and FM broadcast antennas and associated transmission lines. • Perform foundation, grounding, conduit, and electrical installations. • Mentor less‑experienced technicians and complete additional assigned duties.

What You Bring

• Minimum high school diploma and at least 4 years of tower experience. • Ability to read and interpret technical prints and instructions. • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations; NWSA certification is a plus. • Physical capability to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours. • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Strong problem‑solving skills, high‑quality work ethic, and teamwork orientation.
