What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to support engineering and construction teams in Qatar. The role involves producing accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other CAD software while ensuring compliance with project requirements and design standards. You will translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings, update existing documents to reflect changes, and coordinate with site teams to align drawings with actual conditions. Maintaining organized drawing records and assisting in construction documentation are also key responsibilities. • Hold a diploma from an accredited institution. • Possess at least 10 years of drafting experience on construction projects. • Have a minimum of 5 years working on construction sites with strong site‑practice knowledge. • Proficient in AutoCAD and other computer‑aided design tools. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills. • Demonstrate strong computer skills and the ability to work with various design software applications. • Show high attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing preparation. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Exhibit excellent organizational and documentation abilities. • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a construction environment.
