Technical Product Owner- SAP FICO

About the Role

• Capture business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and end‑to‑end solution designs. • Guide design and scope decisions in collaboration with Product Managers, Owners, and Solution Architects. • Lead SAP FICO configuration (AP/AR, Profit Center, Cost Center, settlements, Chart of Accounts, GL, reporting) and coordinate unit and UAT testing. • Support Scrum teams in sprint planning, execution, user story facilitation, and documentation. • Act as Level‑3 troubleshooter, performing root‑cause analysis, corrective enhancements, and prevention plans. • Collaborate with technical teams for custom development that complements functional solutions. • Align with program deployments and post‑go‑live enhancements while maintaining lightweight documentation. • Partner with logistics, manufacturing, and order execution teams to ensure data, process, and compliance readiness for releases. • Champion continuous improvement, standardization, best practices, and removal of roadblocks across the FICO landscape.

What You Bring

The role is preferred onsite in Franklin, TN, but other U.S. hubs (Carrolton TX, Westmonth IL, Raleigh NC, Boston MA) or remote options are open. Applicants must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. • 7–10 years SAP FICO experience with at least 2 years on S/4HANA, delivering design, build, rollout, and support on complex programs. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in finance or business administration. • Deep expertise in SAP FICO configuration (AP/AR, Profit Center, Cost Center, settlements, Chart of Accounts, GL, reporting). • Strong knowledge of finance processes and extensive experience leading multiple complex SAP implementations. • Proficiency in Finance, Controlling, and FSCM modules, including Credit, Dispute, and Collections Management. • Understanding of software development lifecycle, SAP project implementation methodology, and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). • Practical knowledge of IDOC input/output integration. • Ability to travel up to ~20% for go‑lives and critical meetings. • Experience with manufacturing/plant environments and order execution touchpoints. • Familiarity with taxation and working with onshore/offshore teams.

Benefits

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $139,200‑$208,800 per year, which includes base pay and short‑term incentive. The range applies to full‑time candidates located within the United States and is set based on roles of similar responsibility and level. Individual pay is determined by performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
