About the Role

• Lead planning, design, and execution of municipal water, wastewater, drainage, roadway, and site‑servicing projects. • Guide multidisciplinary teams through conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases. • Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor from initiation to completion. • Collaborate with municipal, utility, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and keep projects moving. • Oversee budgets, schedules, scope, and quality to ensure predictable, successful outcomes. • Conduct site inspections and provide technical oversight during construction activities. • Mentor emerging professionals within the Calgary municipal design practice. • Support proposal development, including scope definition, fee estimation, and RFP response strategy.

What You Bring

• 10–15+ years delivering land development projects for public and private sector clients. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and active P.Eng. designation in Alberta. • Proven ability to lead complex land development projects and multidisciplinary technical teams. • Strong understanding of Alberta municipal processes, permitting pathways, and infrastructure standards; mountain‑region experience is a plus. • Experience designing water, sanitary, stormwater, and roadway systems. • PMP certification considered an asset. • Valid driver’s licence and readiness for site‑based work.
