About the Role

As a Consulting Associate – Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineer in Malvern, PA, you will deliver remediation and engineering solutions across the Mid‑Atlantic region and beyond. Your work will help clients manage environmental challenges, improve site safety, and meet evolving regulatory requirements, exposing you to the full range of ERM’s global consulting services. In this role you will support complex remediation and design projects, conduct field investigations, collect data, and build models that shape project strategy. You will apply innovative technologies alongside senior technical experts and gain foundational experience toward professional engineering registration. Collaboration and independent work are both emphasized, and you will travel as needed to project sites. • Support remediation and engineering design projects, including field investigations, data collection, and modeling. • Perform technical tasks such as calculations, cost estimating, drawings, specifications, and report preparation. • Conduct construction‑phase activities: inspections, testing, QA/QC, and oversight. • Execute stormwater modeling and design, and perform groundwater, soil, air, and vapor sampling. • Participate in pilot tests, operation & maintenance monitoring, and remedial system oversight. • Prepare environmental compliance plans, permits, and communicate with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.

What You Bring
We require a BS in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering with at least a 3.0 GPA, and 0–3 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be willing to travel, hold a clean driver’s license, and demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office. Preferred qualifications include environmental field experience, OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification, and experience with AutoCAD or ArcGIS. Sponsorship for immigration is not available. • Required: BS in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering (≥3.0 GPA), 0–3 years experience, willingness to travel, MS Office proficiency, strong communication and problem‑solving skills, valid driver’s license. • Preferred: environmental field experience, OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification, AutoCAD or ArcGIS experience.
