About the Role
This 100% travel role requires climbing towers up to 300 ft and leading daily site construction to meet production goals. You will enforce MasTec and industry safety standards, oversee operations and quality, maintain paperwork, coordinate with customers, and provide leadership and training to the crew while keeping equipment operational. • Lead daily site construction, ensuring crew meets production goals. • Enforce MasTec and industry safety standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Oversee site operations, quality control, and maintain daily paperwork. • Coordinate with customer representatives and manage close‑out documentation. • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to crew members. • Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition. • Validate timesheets and serve as a mentor to less‑experienced technicians.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years of industry experience, industrial welding and structural‑modification background, and strong construction, rigging, and safety knowledge. Relevant certifications (WSA, First Aid, Safety, etc.) are a plus, along with the ability to read plans, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet physical requirements for climbing, lifting, and long‑hour work. • Travel full‑time and climb towers up to 300 ft. • Must have industrial welding and structural‑modification experience. • Minimum high school diploma/GED and 5 + years industry experience. • Proven record of high‑quality work and strong problem‑solving skills. • Knowledge of construction, rigging, safety regulations, and ability to read plans and RFDS. • Relevant certifications (WSA, First Aid, Safety, Rescue, etc.) are a plus. • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. • Physical fitness to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours per day. • Ability to lead, teach, and ensure safe work practices.
