About the Role

• Level II – Consistently meet all objectives and mentor/supervise Level I employees. • Senior – Provide lead assistance on complex projects and offer mentoring and supervision as needed. • Support sales team by determining, pricing, and securing required parts, labor, and materials. • Select fire‑design products with optimal performance‑to‑cost ratio to meet specifications. • Design fire system networks, including Honeywell (Notifier) and future Climatec product lines. • Estimate project costs for materials and labor. • Procure subcontractors, competitively scoping jobs with electrical and other trades. • Conduct site visits and perform field engineering when plans are unavailable. • Write proposals that clearly communicate Bosch Building Technologies/Climatec value propositions. • Contact customers via calls, emails, and visits to contractors, engineers, and owners. • Manage contract documents, track plans, specifications, addenda, and scope changes. • Assist project management as liaison between operations and customers/contractors. • Lead project turnover meetings to present technical and intangible project features. • Maintain a satisfactory driving record according to Climatec vehicle policy.

What You Bring

• Level I – Achieve many position objectives with timely supervision and appropriate communication. • Minimum: 7+ years inside sales/estimating for fire and security systems (or equivalent technical experience). • Minimum: 7+ years fire estimating experience. • Minimum: Proficient with basic computer systems, including MS Office Suite. • Minimum: Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills. • Preferred: Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or related field. • Preferred: 10+ years inside sales/estimating for fire and security systems. • Preferred: 10+ years fire estimating experience. • Preferred: NICET certification. • Preferred: NFPA 72 certification. • Preferred: Field experience in fire. • Able to kneel, stoop, crawl, lift/carry drawings, computers, and material up to 30 lb. • Capable of sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
