About the Role
This entry‑level Security Hardware/Access Control Technician role supports a client facility in Anaheim, CA, serving as the frontline expert for security hardware systems to ensure safety and operational continuity through proactive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and expert repairs. It offers the chance to develop expertise in cutting‑edge security technology while contributing to JLL's property management mission. • Repair and troubleshoot access control systems, electrified door hardware, and electronic key boxes • Track and document work orders, including details such as date, time, location, and actions taken • Diagnose complex technical issues on site using specialized test equipment • Coordinate and maintain inventory of tools, materials, and spare parts needed for repairs • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and drawings to determine correct repair procedures • Perform preventive maintenance on electronic key boxes and other security hardware • Create and update technical documentation, procedures, and safety reports

What You Bring
The position begins with standard business hours during onboarding and transitions to a graveyard/3rd‑shift schedule after 6‑12 months. Estimated compensation is $56,160 per year, and the role does not provide visa sponsorship, requiring U.S. work authorization. • Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid CA driver’s license • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills in electronics and electrical systems • Familiarity with general electrical and electronics safety procedures • Obtain Lenel Certification within three years (company‑provided training) • Ability to learn new hardware and software and work graveyard/3rd shift after onboarding • Self‑starter capable of working in structured and unstructured environments • Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through and communication skills • Team player who can meet deadlines under pressure in fast‑paced settings • Professional appearance and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and emergency calls
