Design and specify HVAC mechanical systems, perform calculations, and support project delivery.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform HVAC mechanical calculations and size air‑distribution and piping systems. • Select and specify equipment for schools, hotels, hospitals, airports, and other commercial projects. • Develop and supervise feasibility testing and validation of engineering solutions. • Assist senior staff in drafting engineering standards, specifications, and code compliance. • Contribute to project management tasks to meet defined milestones. • Support client and customer relationship management using sales and client systems.

What You Bring
• Hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering; EIT preferred with intent to obtain PE licensure. • Bring 4–6 years of commercial HVAC/Plumbing design experience. • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation software such as Trane 3D/700. • Knowledge of mechanical/plumbing codes, ASHRAE standards, Florida Building Code, and energy codes; LEED certification a plus.
