About the Role
The position provides senior technical leadership, guiding design studies, developing procedures, and ensuring quality control across electrical discipline deliverables. The engineer will mentor junior staff, coordinate with other engineering domains, and drive innovative, code‑compliant solutions while supporting project budgeting and scheduling. • Serve as senior technical advisor for the team. • Provide specialized input to studies and designs. • Develop procedures that ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective work. • Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables. • Create construction cost and technical effort estimates. • Execute all stages of the electrical PS&E package. • Conduct quality‑control reviews of calculations and drawings. • Prepare technical specification sections. • Contribute to engineering budget and schedule planning. • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians in electrical design. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical systems. • Design and implement innovative solutions to complex electrical challenges. • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations. • Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments for new designs. • Represent AECOM at technical forums and industry conferences.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, possess 10‑16 years of design experience on large‑scale projects, and are proficient with tools such as Revit, AutoCAD and lighting analysis software. Familiarity with BS, American, and NEC standards and chartered status (e.g., IET) is highly valued. • Hold a B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. • Have 10‑16 years of design experience on mixed‑use and building projects. • Be proficient with software such as Amtech, Electrical OM, Dialux, AGi32, Revit, Navis, and AutoCAD. • Possess strong knowledge of NEC and other relevant industry standards. • Be familiar with BS and American standards and regional regulations. • Prefer chartered status from a professional institution (e.g., IET).
