About the Role

In this role you will conduct field observations of existing facilities and perform a range of facilities‑related services such as roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, firestopping, EIFS, anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations. You will also interact and communicate effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers. • Conduct field observations of existing facilities. • Perform roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, firestopping, EIFS, anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations. • Communicate effectively with site contractors, technicians, and project managers. • Provide reliable transportation for job sites (mileage reimbursed).

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates who are actively pursuing an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture, building science, or a related field and have an interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures. The position requires the ability to carry 40–70 lb repeatedly (occasionally up to 85 lb to waist height) and to provide suitable transportation for job sites, with mileage reimbursed; pay ranges from $20‑$30 per hour, adjusted for location and qualifications. • Pursue an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture, building science, or a related field. • Lift and carry 40–70 lb repeatedly (occasionally up to 85 lb to waist height).
