Team Centre Developer - HVDC

About the Role

In this role you will design, develop, and customize solutions within the Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment, working closely with the development team to meet business requirements and follow best practices. You will perform server‑side ITK programming in C/C++ and Java, create XML style sheets, and use tools such as BMIDE, Workflow Designer and Query Builder. The position also involves troubleshooting existing code, supporting the team with technical expertise, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. • Develop and customize Teamcenter solutions using configuration and custom code/scripts. • Perform ITK server‑side programming in C/C++ and Java, and create XML style‑sheet definitions. • Utilize BMIDE, Workflow Designer, and Query Builder for continuous development. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing code based on user or team reports. • Provide technical expertise and support to the development team. • Apply PLM/Teamcenter best practices in all development activities. • Integrate Teamcenter with third‑party applications such as SAP S/4HANA, NX, and ECAD tools. • Configure and customize Active Workspace, Teamcenter architecture, and data models. • Install and configure 2‑Tier & 4‑Tier clients, file management servers, dispatcher servers, and CAD integrations. • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and is proficient in at least one of the following languages: C/C++, C#, Java, or XML/XSLT. Experience with Teamcenter APIs, the Dispatcher framework, Active Workspace configuration, and Git (Azure DevOps) is required, along with knowledge of Teamcenter UA modules such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management, Workflow and Change Management. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. • Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Java, or XML/XSLT. • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter APIs and Dispatcher framework. • Experience configuring and customizing Active Workspace. • Familiarity with Git (Azure DevOps) for code management. • Understanding of Teamcenter UA products (Engineering Data Management, BOM Management, Workflow, Change Management). • Experience in client‑server and SOA customization for Teamcenter. • Basic problem‑solving skills for application issues and root‑cause analysis. • Ability to work in real‑time customer environments and implement Teamcenter solutions. • Proficiency in English; additional language such as Swedish is a plus.
