About the Role
The New Home Consultant guides homebuyers through every stage of the purchasing process, from the first engagement to closing. The role relies on proactive sales techniques, strong customer‑relationship management, and deep knowledge of the housing market to provide a seamless experience. Consultants engage visitors, establish relationships, and determine buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy. They generate, process, and close sales through self‑generated or referred leads, applying the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach, and maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes. Travel throughout the local community to prospect leads, stay informed on market competition, and record daily customer traffic with company tools. Collaboration with internal departments, participation in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives ensure smooth transactions and customer satisfaction. • Guide homebuyers through the entire purchasing process, from initial contact to closing. • Generate and close home sales using self‑generated and referred leads with Lennar’s 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach. • Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model and inventory homes, and address maintenance needs promptly. • Travel within the local community to prospect leads from Realtors, referrals, and self‑prospecting. • Keep up‑to‑date knowledge of market competition, community details, sales trends, and customer demographics. • Record daily customer traffic and use company tracking tools. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transactions and high customer satisfaction. • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high‑school diploma or equivalent; a college degree and real estate license are preferred. Minimum 1‑3 years of experience in new‑home sales, real estate, or a related field is required, along with proven relationship‑building and closing abilities. Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools, and a self‑motivated, results‑driven mindset are essential. The position requires regular on‑site attendance, the ability to work beyond eight‑hour days, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, and lift equipment exceeding 50 pounds. • Meet education and experience requirements: high school diploma (college degree & real estate license preferred); 1‑3 years new‑home sales experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, relationship‑building, organizational, and customer‑service skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales tracking systems; self‑motivated and results‑driven. • Ability to work on‑site, operate a vehicle, read plans, lift 50+ lbs, and occasionally use construction equipment.
