About the Role
The Porter / Yard Worker (Yard Associate) stations and retrieves equipment on the location’s property, maintains a written maintenance schedule, and services equipment as needed to meet specifications. The role also inspects equipment before and after rental to document any loss or damage, providing a solid foundation for future growth within the company. • Advance into mechanic, driver, or customer-service positions. • Collaborate with a safety-focused team. • Communicate effectively with customers, both written and oral. • Follow written maintenance schedule and service equipment as needed. • Inspect equipment before and after rental to document loss or damage.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred). • Experience with common construction and industrial tools (preferred). • Training or experience in mechanical equipment repair (preferred). • Perform basic math calculations. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). • Demonstrate general mechanical aptitude and safety focus. • Bilingual Spanish or other language may be required. • Lift 50 lb or more; bend, squat, crouch, reach; work indoor/outdoor.

Base pay ranges from $17.75 to $22.55 per hour, with the starting rate varying by location, education, training, and experience. Full-time employees become eligible for benefits on the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
