About the Role

You will create and support transport planning deliverables and guide projects through planning applications and post‑approval works. In addition, you will lead client and stakeholder engagement, maintain collaborative relationships, and ensure projects meet budget, programme, technical and legal requirements. • Produce concept studies, transport statements, assessments, travel plans, parking and access studies for development projects. • Lead client and stakeholder engagement, fostering collaborative relationships. • Ensure project delivery aligns with budget, schedule, technical standards, and legal requirements. • Mentor and guide junior technical staff across various grades. • Utilise junction modelling software (Junctions 9, PICADY, ARCADY, Linsig) and interpret results. • Manage financial and programme aspects of projects using appropriate business tools. • Provide line‑management and day‑to‑day operational leadership for the team.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with a numerate first‑degree in transport, civil engineering, planning or related fields, and extensive experience delivering transport planning projects across development, scheme delivery and sustainable transport. Strong numeracy, financial and programme management skills, and experience of team leadership are essential. • Hold a numerate degree in transport, civil engineering, planning or a related discipline. • Demonstrate extensive experience in transport planning, sustainable transport and active travel. • Possess strong written communication and presentation skills for development proposals.
