US Quality Control Professional - High Voltage Services

About the Role
In this role you will support power‑grid reliability by overseeing inspection, testing, and verification of high‑voltage materials and assembled products. You will work across warehouse and assembly environments to ensure incoming components and outgoing equipment meet defined acceptance criteria, protecting safety and performance of critical grid assets. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, operations, and supplier partners to resolve non‑conformities, refine quality practices, and maintain documentation essential for service‑level performance. Your technical background, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail will directly influence system uptime, customer confidence, and overall grid resilience. Key responsibilities include establishing and managing quality control processes, leading a team of quality technicians, maintaining inspection records, developing standardized criteria and sampling plans, supporting supply‑chain quality data, implementing non‑conformance management and KPI reporting, and conducting internal audits to drive continuous improvement. • Establish and manage quality control processes for inbound and outbound inspections. • Lead, train, and oversee a team of approximately three quality control technicians. • Maintain inspection documentation, test results, and coordinate internal and customer audits. • Develop standardized inspection criteria, sampling plans, and acceptance standards. • Provide quality data to supply‑chain teams and collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues. • Implement non‑conformance management, 8D/RCA problem‑solving, and KPI reporting. • Oversee inspection programs in warehouse and assembly environments with proper record retention. • Conduct internal audits, document best practices, and drive continuous improvement using data trends. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and ISO standards.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, has experience with quality management systems, ISO standards, SAP S4/HANA Quality, and continuous‑improvement methodologies such as 8D and RCA. Experience managing a small team (about three direct reports) and strong cross‑functional communication skills are required. • Hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering and experience with QMS, ISO, and SAP S4/HANA Quality. • Experience managing small teams and applying continuous‑improvement methodologies. • Demonstrate strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
