About the Role
The Nuclear Security Analyst is responsible for auditing nuclear security performance and recommending corrective actions to ensure Security Force compliance with the Nuclear Security Plan, procedures, Safeguards Contingency Plan, and licensing documents. Key duties include auditing security performance, updating policies, identifying efficiency improvements, conducting human performance and safety evaluations, interfacing with department managers, monitoring security KPIs, coordinating equipment repairs and vendor contracts, supporting capital projects, and performing regulatory compliance reviews and inspection readiness activities. • Audit nuclear security performance and ensure Security Force compliance with policies and licensing documents. • Update security policies, recommend corrective actions, and suggest efficiency improvements. • Conduct human performance and safety evaluations and assess security programs. • Monitor security department KPIs and coordinate equipment repairs, logistics, and vendor contracts. • Support capital projects, regulatory compliance reviews, and inspection readiness activities. • Fulfill Emergency Response Organization duties with on‑call or pool‑style availability. • Maintain a current Nuclear AA/UA badge and meet 10 CFR 73.56 unescorted access requirements.

What You Bring
Minimum requirements are a high school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of experience as a nuclear security officer or in a related role, plus the ability to obtain and maintain nuclear unescorted access (UA) and critical group requirements. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, three or more years in a nuclear security leadership role, military or law‑enforcement experience, and a current Nuclear AA/UA badge. • Hold a High School diploma (or equivalent) and at least two years of nuclear security experience. • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of leadership experience, military or law‑enforcement background.
