About the Role
The Regional Account Manager role at Johnson Controls focuses on securing fire detection and electronic security installation projects within a defined territory. The position involves cultivating and strengthening relationships with regional clients across sectors such as education, healthcare, industrial and large commercial. You will lead the entire sales cycle, conduct building surveys, and design systems, leveraging innovative solutions. For complex projects, you will receive support from dedicated surveyors, designers and estimators, while using Salesforce to manage leads and drive performance. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will collaborate with key contacts to identify bid opportunities, present technical information to board level, and work with an Estimator/Technical Bid Manager on sophisticated proposals. The primary objectives are pipeline growth, improved conversion rates, and meeting defined sales targets. • Secure fire detection and electronic security projects in assigned region • Lead sales cycles, conduct building surveys, and design systems • Build and maintain client relationships in education, healthcare, industrial and commercial sectors • Manage leads and drive performance using Salesforce • Collaborate with estimators and technical bid managers on large proposals • Achieve pipeline growth and conversion targets

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in account, specification or project sales within a technical field, experience selling B2B technical solutions, and strong independent working ability. Excellent communication, relationship‑building skills, a full UK driving licence, and the capability to develop strategic plans are required. • Proven success in technical account or project sales • Experience selling B2B technical solutions • Strong independent work ethic and communication skills • Full UK driving licence required • Preferred: ability to survey buildings and design fire/security systems; CRM/Salesforce experience
