About the Role

The role will manage a major defence sector project for Mace’s strategic client, valued at around £500 million, which forms part of a £5 billion infrastructure programme over the next decade. • Lead day‑to‑day project design, construction and coordination of technical queries. • Drive data collection, dashboards, and update cost, schedule, risk, and performance information, proactively managing impacts and changes. • Support project meetings, assurance reviews and technical boards such as GWRs, scrutiny boards, PCP, PCG, PAG, and SPAG. • Assist PMO, regional teams and client‑side PM on TSP/contractor matters. • Promote and support Learning for Excellence (LfE), Learning Labs (LLs) and the collaboration hub. • Manage key client relationships, generating prospects and leads for the project.

What You Bring

The position is based flexibly, with the core team expected to operate from the East of England, so candidates should be able to work from that region. Candidates must hold chartered membership or equivalent, have at least 15 years of infrastructure delivery across the full RIBA lifecycle, possess NEC4 ECC accreditation and SC eligibility, and demonstrate proven leadership in defence sector project delivery.
