About the Role

The Project Manager – MEP role focuses on leading complex construction projects that integrate civil, electrical, and mechanical systems. Candidates will be responsible for driving sustainable building practices, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and delivering innovative engineering solutions that set new industry standards. • Lead complex MEP construction projects. • Oversee integration of civil, electrical, and mechanical systems. • Implement innovative and sustainable building practices. • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements. • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors. • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks. • Resolve technical issues and propose optimization solutions. • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders. • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. • Mentor junior team members and foster collaboration across disciplines. • Drive continuous improvement and knowledge‑sharing initiatives. • Expand expertise across multiple engineering disciplines on global projects. • Build leadership skills by guiding multidisciplinary teams. • Access JLL’s global resources and cutting‑edge construction technologies. • Contribute to award‑winning, iconic projects that reshape skylines.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, have at least seven years of relevant experience, and possess strong project management, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Professional Engineering licensure and LEED accreditation are preferred. The position is on‑site in Kolkata, India, with a 48‑hour weekly schedule, and JLL welcomes applicants even if they do not meet every requirement. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management. • Minimum 7 years construction management experience with electrical/mechanical focus. • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred; LEED accreditation a plus. • Proficiency in construction management software and BIM technologies. • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
